The Honey Exchange on Stevens Avenue in Portland is a family business that has grown to be a destination experience for anyone who is fascinated by bees or the products they make. Phil Gavin, master beekeeper, will talk about the very specific divisions of labor in the hive that allows bees to survive and thrive as a whole and produce the honey, propolis, pollen and wax that humans adore.
