What does "local" food mean at UNE? Our working definition is "food produced in the state of Maine or within a 250 mile radius or within the Gulf of Maine". Sodexo is hosting local food vendors during Earth Week to showcase just some of the many local foods routinely offered in the dining hall. Exhibits include Oakhurst Dairy, Wyman's Blueberries and Garbage to Garden, and the list is growing.
