Blue turf field garners Press Herald story

The March 2, 2010 reported on UNE's plans for a new blue artificial turf field, which should be ready for fall 2010. The new turf field, which will include lights, will be used for field hockey and men's and women's lacrosse teams, as well as intramurals. With respect to the blue turf, Athletic Director Kim Allen told the Press Herald "We are the Big Blue, the Nor'easters. And we were thinking about how great (the blue field) has been for Boise State. I think it's really an excellent signature for our program."
