Campus expansion featured in Journal Tribune

Construction of the new 300-bed residence hall at UNE's Biddeford Campus and a multi-purpose athletic field was featured on the front page of the January 7, 2010 edition of the Journal Tribune.  The story stated, "The proposed field which will have an artificial turf surface, would be predominately  used for lacrosse, field hockey and soccer and used by intramural teams and for recreational sports.  Bleachers which can seat up to 900 people are also planned . . . with the goal of university officials to get students out in force to support the school teams."
