Carl Toney appointed to membership on The National Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary Community-Based Linkages of the Health Resources and Services Administration

Carl M. Toney, PA, assistant professor and Community Projects Coordinator, UNE Westbrook College of Health Professions, was appointed by Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services, to membership on The National Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary Community-Based Linkages of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

This is a three year appointment, beginning October 1, 2010.  The Committee is charged with providing advice and recommendations to the Secretary on a broad range of issues specifically dealing with programs and activities authorized under Title V of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, [as it relates to "...Innovations in the Health Care Workforce"].
