Lara Carlson receives the Castleton State College Terry Moran Award

Dr. Lara Carlson, FACSM, Assistant Professor in the Westbrook College of Health Professions, received the Castleton State College Terry Moran Award this past Friday for her efforts with the growth and development of the Castleton Men鈥檚 Hockey program.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities at Castleton, Dr. Carlson served for four years as their strength and conditioning coach. Castleton's Head Men鈥檚 Hockey Coach, Alex Todd, remarked, 鈥淣o one deserves this award more than Dr. Carlson. She established the attitude, effort, and energy that all Spartans need鈥.
