Michael Sheldon selected as the 2010 recipient of the Adopt-A-Doc scholarship program
Michael Sheldon, Associate Professor and Director, Department of Physical Therapy was recently selected as the 2010 recipient of the Adopt-A-Doc scholarship sponsored by the Education Section of the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA). This scholarship program seeks to increase the number of doctorally prepared faculty teaching in PT and PTA education programs by providing financial support to faculty members who are in the dissertation phase of their doctoral programs. Professor Sheldon also has a grant from the APTA's Health Policy and Administration Section to cover expenses related to data collection for this dissertation research in the area of occupational safety and health policy.
