Bruce Bates and Marilyn Gugliucci give presentations on Transitions of Care for Maine's Aging Adults at the Quality Counts Conference

Bruce P. Bates, DO, Chair of the UNECOM Department of Geriatric Medicine; and Marilyn R. Gugliucci, Ph.D., Director of Geriatrics Education and Research co-presented at the Quality Counts Conference held in the Augusta Civic Center last week. The conference theme was: Creating Accountable Communities of Care: Realizing the Promise of Better Healthcare for Maine. Drs. Bates and Gugliucci presented on Transitions of Care for Maine鈥檚 Aging Adults. The day long conference boasted 540 attendees from Maine and neighboring states. Quality Counts works to transform health and healthcare in Maine by leading, collaborating, and aligning improvement efforts through active engagement with people, communities, and healthcare partners in Maine.
