Steven Sutton gives presentation at the 6th Global Forum on Pharmaceutical AntiCounterfeiting meeting in London

Dr. Steven C. Sutton of the College of Pharmacy presented an invited paper at the 6th Global Forum on Pharmaceutical AntiCounterfeiting meeting in London.  The title of his presentation was "A Collaborative Partnership Poised to Influence Counterfeit Detection."  Also involved in the work presented were Dr. John V Schloss, Lisa Harding, and Ivy Bergquist of the College of Pharmacy and Dr. Jennifer L. Morton of the College of Health Professions & Graduate Programs in Public Health.  Dr. Sutton's talk summarized progress made in implementing a collaboration involving members of the UNE Ghana Health Partnership, government authorities, and NGO's to screen for counterfeit drugs.  The talk was very well received and has already resulted in invitations to expand this effort into Nigeria, Kenya, and Sierra Leone.
