Jane Carreiro named Harold A. Blood Memorial Lecturer

Associate Professor, UNECOM, Jane Carreiro, DO, was named the 2012 Harold A. Blood, DO FAAO, Memorial Lecturer. This national award is presented on behalf of the Student American Academy of Osteopathy in appreciation of outstanding success as a mentor to osteopathic medical students.

Carreiro presented as part of the Student American Academy of Osteopathy's annual convocation program, which was attended by over 600 osteopathic medical students.  Carreiro has been a member of the faculty in the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department of UNECOM since 1993 and has served as chair since 1998.
