Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi to moderate forum at Health Literacy Research Conference

Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi, M.Ed., adjunct professor for UNE鈥檚 School of Community and Population Health, will moderate a Health Literacy Association open forum discussion at the (HARC) in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, October 29, 2013.

The session will review the steps taken to date to explore the concept of forming a health literacy professional association and propose a vision for moving forward. It will also encourage open discussion as well as generate concrete ideas and commitments to move the idea from concept to reality.

Kurtz-Rossi recently participated in a Twitter Chat sponsored by Health Communication Health Literacy & Social Science (HCHLITSS) on 鈥淲hat Can a Health Literacy Association Do for You?鈥 to generate ideas and interest in the topic.
