Cheryl Nimmo elected as president-elect of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists

Cheryl Nimmo, CRNA, DNP, MSHSA, assistant program director of Didactics, assistant clinical professor in UNE鈥檚 Department of Nurse Anesthesia, was elected as president-elect by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) on June 3, 2015.

Nimmo will serve a one-year term as president-elect before stepping into her role as president in 2016. 

The AANA is a national association representing more than 48,000 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and graduate students.
