'Courier' reports on City of Biddeford UNE Student Volunteer Award recipients
On May 28, 2015, the Courier reported on the presentation of the City of Biddeford UNE Student Volunteer Award to three UNE students on May 5: Samantha Cottone, a major in Health, Wellness and Occupational Studies; Laura Groomes, a second-year student in the College of Osteopathic Medicine; and Shayne Toohey, a medical biology major. The awards were presented by Biddeford Mayor Alan Casavant.
The City of Biddeford UNE Student Volunteer award recognizes individuals who demonstrate integrity and high quality of character and who also strengthen the connection between UNE and the city of Biddeford.
