Donna Hyde named fellow of Maine Gerontological Society

Donna Hyde, MSN/Ed., B.S.N., R.N., assistant professor in the Department of Nursing, has been named a fellow of the Maine Gerontological Society for 2015.  

This honor recognizes Maine individuals who are advancing work on behalf of older adults and the aging process.  Hyde has refined the nursing program鈥檚 Gerontology course and developed innovative experiential opportunities for students working with elders.  

She will be honored on June 11, 2015 at the annual meeting of the Maine Gerontological Society in Bar Harbor.
