Edward Li co-authors report in American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy

Edward Li, Pharm.D., M.P.H., BCOP, associate professor in the UNE Department of Pharmacy Practice, co-authored the annual drug expenditure forecast report published by the Americal Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP). 

In his report, Li explained that prescription drug expenditures are expected to increase in the U.S. throughout 2015 due, in part, to specialty drugs. The rates of increase include:

  • 7-9% across all settings
  • 12-14% in clinics
  • 5-7 % in hospitals
