Marilyn Gugliucci presents on Learning by Living Nursing Home Project at Maine Science Festival

Marilyn R. Gugliucci, Ph.D., director of Geriatrics Education and Research, was an invited speaker at the inaugural Maine Science Festival, intended to be held annually, which took place at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine, March 21-23, 2015.

As part of the Science of Aging Session, Gugliucci presented research associated with the Learning by Living Nursing Home Immersion Project. Nick Guidice, Ph.D., from the University of Maine, presented on technology/engineering research to assist older adults with remaining in their homes and continuing daily activities.

Gugliucci reported that the was a huge success with thousands of attendees from across the state.
