Richard Parent invited to participate in Breakthrough Models Academy

Richard Parent, Ph.D., director of Pedagogy and Assessment for UNE’s Online Worldwide Learning (OWL) program, was recently accepted into the Innovators Track in the EDUCAUSE Institute Breakthrough Models Academy.  Parent will be attending The Academy Residential Program in Chicago, Illinois on July 13 –17, 2015. 

The Breakthrough Models Academy is an organization working to develop the next generation of higher education leaders who will challenge traditional thinking and design of higher education models. 

Candidates are selected to participate in The Academy based on several criteria including:

  • Management experience or demonstrated leadership in campus or departmental projects
  • Ability to navigate and work with diverse stakeholder perspectives
  • Commitment and interest in academic transformation and innovation
