UNE PT department descends on Capitol Hill for PT Day
Faculty and Students from UNE鈥檚 Department of Physical Therapy attended PT day on Capitol Hill on Thursday, June 4, 2015.
PT Day is an annual event sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). More than 1,000 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students to Capitol Hill for a rally.
Following the rally, attendees have the opportunity to participate in meetings with representatives of Congress to advocate for the importance of the physical therapy profession and the patients it serves.
