Jim Cavanaugh, P.T., Ph.D., N.C.S., associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, is a 2016 recipient of the Chattanooga Research Award from the American Physical Therapy Association.

The annual award recognizes a research article published in Physical Therapy Journal that demonstrates a significant contribution to Physical Therapy and presents a novel and innovative research study.
