UNE鈥檚 new Director of Occupational Therapy attends competitive leadership institute

Kris Winston, Ph.D., O.T.R./L., program director for the Occupational Therapy Department in the 糖心传媒鈥檚 Westbrook College of Health professions, attended the Academic Leadership Institute of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

The yearlong program began with a workshop August 22, 2016 in Alexandria, Virginia. The institute provides attendees with the opportunity to grow and develop as leaders. According to AOTA, there is a shortage of qualified academic leaders for occupational therapy education programs.
