Rebecca Boulos, M.P.H., Ph.D., assistant professor in the , presented a lecture titled, 鈥淓nvironmental Influences on Obesity鈥 at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.

Boulos was invited to present by URI鈥檚 Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences program. Her presentation explored how to use public health theoretical frameworks and complex systems science to design sustainable communities that promote safe physical activity and access to healthful foods.
